Potatoes
Our main crop, grown for processing, for chipping and for fresh and seed markets. Varieties are chosen with each customer's specification in mind: size profile, specific gravity, chip colour and storability.
What we grow
Potatoes first, a sound rotation, every field on record.
Barley and broccoli
The ground gets a break between potato crops. Barley rests it and adds organic matter, and some fields go to broccoli, grown by a partner who rents the land for the season. Both break pest and disease cycles so the next potato crop starts on healthy soil.
Storage
Everything we grow goes into storage first and ships from there through the season, so loads arrive in the condition the crop came out of the field.
Records
Every field, planting, spray and load is logged, so we can tell you what was grown where, how it was handled and how it graded.
